Today we need God more than ever. Many dash through life living for the present time and piling up fame and riches with little or no thought to the afterlife.
Don't fall back on God and prayer when things are rough but let Him be number one. How do you do this you might ask? Keep the Bible next to your bed for one. Start reading each day in Psalms and Proverbs. Let the word go down deep in your spirit.
What has replaced God in your life? In other words, what is your idol? Yes I said it, an idol! What do you give more time to than developing a top notch relationship with the Lord? One third of the year of 2021 is behind you and how is the resolution of getting closer to God coming? Demon spirits are real and they try to get you away from growing in Christ and those evil spirits do not want the word to take root in your life. DO NOT Let this present world and it's darkness and lies overcome you but YOU can overcome the darkness in this world.
PRAYER: Today Father I ask you to give me a supernatural hunger and thirst for the word of God. I lift up those close to me who have no hunger for the word that is visible. Keep me silent and let the Holy Spirit work in their lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
