We have all probably seen roadway signs that read 'Under Construction'. As believers we are sort of a work in progress too or 'under construction.' God is not done molding us, sanding us, shaping us into who He wants to be. There is a saying "Please Be Patient God Is Not Finished With Me Yet" and how true that is! Every day we learn more and more of how to be conformed to a Christlike image. Mistakes may be made along the way but it is necessary to keep trudging on. Consider yourself a great project of God and His very special work but still on His easel.
Ephesians 3:20 has been a favorite verse of mine for quite a while. It says "Now unto Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power which is at work within us." More than we could even imagine!! Wow! We are on God's planning table and all the experiences we have help conform us. Hopefully you are following the Lord so you are transformed into his image.
If you have not done so already or are not sure, why not give your heart to Him today. Say a simple prayer and ask Him to come into your heart today. He wants to start forming you into a vessel for His glory.
PRAYER: Father in heaven thank you so much for the plans you have for me. I want to be submissive to your plan. Help me hang on when things get tough and always remember to give thanks. In Jesus name. Amen.
