Defeat Evil With Good

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)

The enemy is the great deceiver. His primary tool is lying. Of course there is anger, deceit, destruction and  many more ugly weapons at his disposal. He often gets people to believe lies and fight with each other rather than fighting to demolish him. His 'agents' sometimes unknowingly work for him without ever intending to.

To combat this force of evil remember who wins in the end. Know that Satan can not defeat you as you are covered with the blood of Jesus. Stay away from things that agitate. Lately Satan is using politics to try to destroy and divide families, friends, churches, and ministries. Don't go there my friend. Try to be kind when blamed or insulted. Don't argue. Pursue righteousness no matter what barbs are thrown at you.

Pray for your accusers and those who would try to stir up a frenzy judging you or trying to bring condemnation upon your strong spiritual beliefs. Once again many don't understand and will say all manner of evil against you and think they are right and doing you a favor. Love one another and pray for those who would come against you and stay off social media when you feel like you want to get your opinion out there as it only breeds controversies and makes the enemy very happy. God is in control. Pray and let Him have it.

PRAYER: Father God I thank you for the Bible which is truth. It has not changed. Many have tried to edit it to fit their agenda but it stands firm. Help me love those who may not understand me or judge me Lord. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on your no matter what. Our afflictions here are but for a moment it says in scripture so I choose to follow you and let go of anything trying to get me off focus. In Jesus' name. Amen.
