In freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore and do not be entangled again in a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1When you hear the word freedom what comes to mind? Christ set us free to begin with when he died on the cross for our sins.Freedom to those of us in America means having rights and privileges paid for by the blood of soldiers, sailors, and airmen who sacrificed their life so America could be a bastion of freedom.Freedom of religion, expression, speech, are just a few. Freedom to choose your livelihood. Freedom to drive about with no checkpoints or searches. Freedom to buy and sell. Freedom to own a firearm. Freedom is a true blessing and never to be taken for granted. Remember what today is all about in American history. If you don’t know look it up. Have a day free in Christ.
PRAYER: Father each day I say thank you for guiding my steps. Help me guard my heart. Thank you for freedom and I pray for anyone who heart is hardened to come to know you as Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
