Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”Luke 12:15Are you happy with your life or does social media make you desire things you don’t need or can’t afford. Life doesn’t consist on things you own and ‘stuff’ won’t make you content.A bigger house, fancier car or truck, newer modern furniture, the latest fashions, fancy job title, bigger office, more prestige all may be carnal worldly goals but God wants us to seek Him first.
Read Luke 12:18-20 about continuing to build larger and more feeling that will satisfy you. Are you content or do you need God’s help to humble you and make you happy with what you have?PRAYER: Lord Jesus I have been guilty of wanting more or better and usually it is when I see it on social media which I know is not real anyway.
