Wow another double whammy from Coronavirus hit the beef industry recently thus hitting home for us. Not going to talk about it in this devotion to incite even more panic and fear. Is our United States prosperity and self sufficient life being brought to its’ knees?
My husband the part time farmer told me where I could read it and I did not want to. Is that denying truth and reality or is that an attempt to keep praying, believing and not dwell on speculation and fear often dished out readily by the news media? If you continue to just feed your mind with every negative news flash it won’t be long before you are in panic mode.
This will be behind us someday but until it is what is the lessons we are to learn through this uncertain time? Do you feel a loss of the control you thought you had? Miss those things you took for granted? Press in to God. He loves you. He is not abandoning us. People have been through much worse. Pray for the leaders to use wisdom in decisions they make. And hang on friend, it may be bumpy now but the road will soon smooth out again.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus I can’t do life without you, and don’t understand how people can be atheists or agnostic. My hearts goes out to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one and also to businesses that are under financial stress now. Bring us out of this Lord and may many give their hearts to you in the process. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
