This is typically what you hear when NASA launches a rocket into space at Cape Kennedy in Florida. It is a tense time yet an exciting one after years of working and many brilliant minds involved as the rocket blasts from the launch pad into space and hopefully finishes it’s mission.
Do you feel like you are waiting to hear those words when it comes to getting back into circulation in the world? What a day it will be to be free of our ordered stay in place, slow the spread and to go out cautiously, yet optimistically, and re-enter the human race but let’s not make it a race ok?
Hopefully you have gained some positive things from this time of being sort of cooped up. Not just that you hated it but you can look at favorable things you gained. Closeness with spouse. Maybe talked on phone and didn’t just text. Still got to go to church through online methods. Bible studies and small groups went on as well. Perhaps you learned to appreciate what you have and not take anything for granted. Saved gasoline. Also the fact you really are not in control even though you may sense you are. The noise in your souls may have been hushed a bit and the clamor to do, go, be, and perform. Sort of a bad thing turned into a blessing wouldn’t you say?
PRAYER: Father God I have learned so much from this time which all of us have mostly hated. Never before not being able to control or plan things and trying to trust you. It has been good for me to learn stillness and practice prayer more. Help me to shine for you as we come out of this aloneness so others may have hope. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
