Crazy March Madness times continuing into April and the normally unrestricted people of these United States. No real March Madness NCAA basketball but who really cares at this point. Well maybe UK fans. Anyway life is not the same and it is a crazy mad time. Just a few weeks ago we were eating pizza with family in Huntsville and going to my favorite coffee nooks then out of the blue the ‘madness’ hit in March full force.
You can choose to believe nay sayers and think it is a joke, a plot, a hoax but look around you at the people dying even as young as 22 recently in Tulsa. It is real. States are shut down for the reason of stopping the spread and getting it under control.
After a few years go by and say most of us over 60 are in Heaven there will be the stories of “hey my great grandma lived through that”. In the meantime press on with your life in the new normal mode, be grateful for America which will bounce back, we always have. Also you have gotten a little taste of Socialism for those younger people who thought it sounded cool. It’s not. It’s April madness now. Let’s hope it is not May, June, and July.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus these days have been a little uneasy, scary, uncertain, nerve wracking, and I have been ill at ease. Help me to trust and not be afraid. I have so much to give thanks for. Heal the sick and help scientists find a cure. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
