Holy Stump



But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.1 Peter 2:9

When you cut down a tree and just leave the stump sticking out most of the time it will eventually start growing again. Life is still inside of it. Evangelist James Robison of Life Today tv show says what is happening now with Coronavirus seems to be targeting mostly the older population people who have lived through lots and many who have great spiritual legacies. Satan seems to almost want to kill an entire generation who can pass on good things to their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Just a possible theory of the enemy and his tactics.

Yes I realize not all people over 65 are in poor health I know and thank the Lord I am not but those older people who do have existing medical problems are vulnerable and wouldn’t the enemy love to kill off Bible legacies and those great patriots who are no nonsense and stand for freedom. 

These ‘Holy Stumps’ ,as he called them have lots to plant into the coming generations. Who hasn’t had a praying mom or grandma interceding on the front lines for them. Keep praying friends for this battle is not over. It is being waged in the Heavenlies. God’s people will rise from this and be stronger than ever and no doubt have a greater appreciation for freedom. 

PRAYER: I want to be a good example for those in my family and leave that legacy. Help me Lord resist the tricks and lies of the enemy and help those in my family walk a walk pleasing to you. In a Jesus’ name. Amen.
