Can You Be A Blessing Today?


A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 15:4

There are people you probably encounter each day that need some kindness in their life. You have no idea what someone is going through so don’t be so quick to judge. 

Smile. Be positive. Resist the urge to lash out at someone. Watch those social media posts. Be respectful when you drive your car. Take the high road. Share. Be polite. 

Sometimes human nature wants you to strike back, be ugly, try to win the fight. Is it really that crucial? Go the distance and always try to emulate the Lord Jesus in what you say and do. 

PRAYER:Lord forgive me when I have not been a good witness and struck back with words or even when my mind was thinking thoughts of revenge. That is not the way you desire. I choose to purpose to stay on course and run with you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Becky: Showing kindness to those we meet is a way that "They will know we are Christians" by our love. Do you remember the hymn? All the actions you mention that are human nature are destructive to others. We, as God's children, are to be countercultural. Peace and blessings to you and your hubby as you travel to and settle into you new home.
