Walk This Way, Watch Your Step

 

"He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 John 2:6

You probably have heard someone trying to be funny saying “walk this way” then start walking goofy. Or a tour guide who says “follow me walk this way”. 

In your journey through life you need to be careful how you walk, not as unwise but as wise(see Ephesians 5:15-17)and readily understand and follow the truth, that being Christ. When you fail to do this, stumbling blocks can be in your way placed there by Satan to try to get you to fall away from Christ. 

Do you abide in Christ,  simply stated means to remain,live, or dwell, or are you giving preference to things in this world which will be of no value and pass away? Simple question should not be a complex answer. Do you desire the things Christ provides more than this in this earthly home that soon fades away? Your choice how you choose to walk so ponder that if you will. 

PRAYER: Lord I love you and would rather spend one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere as it says in Psalm 84:10. I choose to rather abide with you and walk with you so help me be alert to stumbling blocks. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
