Hang On During These Trying Times

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the LORD. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the LORD's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11-13

Did you know Satan hates those of you who pray diligently and who believe and would do whatever necessary to take you out thus disabling you for kingdom work? Yesterday right before church a fire alarm sounded and regulation says evacuate till fireman come and give all clear. This was about half an hour prior to start of service in a new location. Thankfully Satan did not stop the service we started late but started.

It happens to me and until I realize what is going on I can get pretty messed up mentally. Wait a minute Becky you have authority in Jesus name to punch out demonic forces attacking just by quoting the word of God. During Covid it has been the devil’s sinister delight  keeping family and friends apart. Try moving across country during Covid and wanting to make new friends by having lunch or coffee. Not happening.

Unless you focus on good things and positive things soon you may say something to someone you regret, or do something you regret. As difficult as it is stillness is a necessity. Right now many churches are doing 21 Days of Prayer and that alone has helped with focusing. Don’t let down your guard. Stay hopeful and know this to will pass.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus forgive me when I have allowed evil forces to try to wreak havoc especially in these days of isolation. Keep me and others suffering from missing family and friends peaceful. Strengthen medical personnel who are in the trenches daily. Bring a Holy Spirit wind and blow Covid 19 away. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
