Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."Mark 8:38
In this world there is darkness and light, Satan and God. For a believer there is no fence sitting posture of being ashamed or uncommitted. If you really are set free and love Jesus it is necessary to be active to pushing back the darkness.
Satan is a great deceiver and he uses people he has taken captive to trick and deceive even people who claim to know you. Our battle is not against these people but this is war against the demonic spirits that have influenced them sometimes unknowingly.
In order to be aware of this darkness you can’t be a CINO or Christian in name only but you have to rise up unashamed and study the scriptures not just casually show up on Sunday for church. Search your heart today and make sure it is firmly planted in God’s kingdom.
PRAYER: Help me be willing to stand up for you Lord and thank you for believers in countries who risk their lives if they speak up. I lift up those I know who need you and need to be have the Holy Spirit. I choose to fight the darkness and stand strong in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
