Hit Reset

 

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”John 4:23-24

Have you ever had a toy or computer that was messing up and the only way to correct it was to reset it to original factory settings? Fear might set in thinking of data you will lose. 

Sometimes you may need to do a reset of sorts in your life. Taking stock at the beginning of the year is a common occurrence when many decide to do things differently and the turning of the calendar page to a brand new year is the ideal time to begin. 

Have you set goals for your own reset yet? Maybe more time in the Word of God? Ignoring ugly comments from people. Forgive? Stay off social media. Restore relationships or misunderstandings. Trying to control your emotions when you have been overlooked or hurt. Decluttering your life to include your emotional and spiritual life. Whatever it is call on God who can give you strength, courage, the right timing, and blessings. 

PRAYER: Father thank you for opportunities to grow in my faith and to make needed changes in my life. Help me be able to forgive when necessary and let go. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
