You are worried and troubled over so many things, but just one is needed. Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken away from her.”Luke 10:41-42The season of Lent is upon us. You may not observe this sacred time but it is a time of reflection on God’s goodness and what He means to you. Lent starts 40 days prior to Easter.
If you never have observed Lent why not start a new tradition. In your own prayer closet you and God can commune. You also can make it a time of sacrifice such as giving up something for 40 days that maybe keeps you from having time with him. Each person decides on his or her own what that should be.
Truly make time to be still and give God time. Give Him your concerns and just talk and share your heart.
PRAYER: Father thanks for abundant life you give me and forgive me when I rush through the day and don’t even give you any time. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
