Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom (dominion, reign) of our God, and the authority of His Christ have come; for the accuser of our [believing] brothers and sisters has been thrown down [at last], he who accuses them and keeps bringing charges [of sinful behavior] against them before our God day and night. What you think and what you speak out of your mouth have great power and with God's help if you are negative in these two areas you can CHANGE. How? Devote yourself to prayer and reading scripture for one.
Today's verse speaks of the 'accuser of the brethren' and that of course is Satan. He is the one who causes wrong thought and negativity to come into your mind. You have to daily feed your mind with God's word and His promises to fight this. To do this you need to know scripture. You can't have power over the enemy with a Bible just sitting collecting dust day after day but it is a tool to be put into use daily.
Speak out loud and tell Satan you are wise to what his tricks are and he can not confuse you because you know the word of God and then quote Isaiah 54:17 that "no weapon formed against you will prosper" and stand on the word!
PRAYER: Lord ,I know I have power over the enemy by simply quoting scripture to defeat him. Keep me knowledgeable of the tricks of the enemy and let me beat him with scripture/ In Jesus' name. Amen.
