Elections Matter

But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! Matthew 5:44

There are many in this great nation who don’t bother voting. They take freedom for granted and don’t realize electing the wrong people could put this nation on the path to socialism or communism. Some voters don’t have a clue what that even means.

Every citizen 18 and older has the awesome privilege of speaking out by voting. Ever since a businessman was elected President many got hateful and angry. Why? Things have been going pretty good but for whatever reason the media won’t give him any credit, all they do is try to smear him. It is time for this hatred and evil to stop. Even a congresswoman urged people to attack and get in the face of followers and other leaders who support him. Downright shameful behavior.

Today you have the privilege to do your duty as an American citizen and vote in this very important midterm election. This primarily determines the balance of power in the House and Senate. Our nation’s founding fathers, who set up our form of government, were led by God. They used the Bible in setting up the government. God gifted them. Evil always tries to remove freedom.  Pray for those who are being hateful. Pray for a revival in the media. Pray for friends or family who have gotten in your face simply because you disagree. Just remember, God is on the throne. His will be done.

PRAYER: Lord I thank you that I get to vote. Help those factions in this nation causing disruption and chaos to cease and be still. Protect those who exercise their right to vote. Protect our President and his family. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For my foreign readers: please keep America in your prayers and don’t trust the media for the facts. Pray that there can be peace among different opinions without hatred. Thanks.
