The Chat Support Line

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8
In the past few days I have had to get on chat lines with customer support personnel from various businesses I was dealing with when I had a glitch. They were usually very helpful even though I might have to wait just a bit. It made me think about our chat support line as a believer.
First of course we go to the Word of God where we 'hear' from God. Christian friends are a great support for helping us through many trials in our life as well. Prayer is our hotline or our 'chatline' to our Father in Heaven. How do you reach this 'hotline' you might ask? It is as simple as crying out to God in prayer. No special words or fancy language is required. Just pour out your heart to Him.
Isn't it nice to know we have a Father who loves us and is available to hear our prayers anytime day or night. He never slumbers or sleeps. Whatever it is you need help with go to Him with confidence and full assurance. Don't hesitate.
PRAYER: I am so grateful that I have 24 hour access to you Lord. I am thankful I never get a busy signal or a disconnect. I am thankful for my Bible where I get comfort as well. Thanks for hearing my prayers. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Note: Life Outreach Ministries of Fort Worth, TX has a 24/7 prayer line if you are hurting and do not know which way to turn in a crisis. The numbers are as follows as copied from their webpage.

  1. Becky: I, also, have had conversations with tech support people-two days out of three. They were very kind and cordial.
God has been kind to my family. Our son is, at most, two hours away from where we live. He used to be a minimum of 10 hours away. I am able to be more active as my ankle heals. I have the privilege of forging some new friendships through my church. When two of us do visitation at the nursing home I was in, I am greeted by the staff as if they are glad to see me. Prayer has been a big part of my being able to do everything I do.
