Are You Wise?

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.James 1:5

When you think of the word ‘wise’ you might think of the ‘wise old owl’ or the ‘wisdom of your elders’ but the entire book of Proverbs in the Old Testament is full of wisdom all 31 chapters. 

Why should you wait until you are old to gain wisdom? Sure your lessons can be passed on to younger family members but even in your youth or middle age or yes even little children can be taught wisdom. 

Thinking before you act is a wise decision. Watching what you say. 

Take some time today and read the Book of Proverbs. You will be wiser for it. 

PRAYER: Your love Lord never ceases and it is your desire that I gain wisdom throughout my life. Forgive for those times I have been a blundering fool. Guide my steps. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
