Where does most your mental energy go when not actively involved working or on a project? Does it try to fix things or make things right often digging a bigger hole?
Worrying about people liking you or what they think can waste much energy and the social media generation doesn’t help much to curb that. Also unresolved conflicts or hasty words spoken that start to erode a relationship are perhaps where to focus on getting your thoughts on things above and how to heal that brokenness in a relationship.
Are you in a dispute now with someone and not sure how it will be resolved? Are you hurting over misspoken misunderstood words? Stop, breathe, pray, repeat. Offended people are hard to win. Whatever it is God can heal and restore your relationship. Just rest and trust him and be still.
PRAYER: Father I need your help robot keep fueling arguments that go nowhere. Satan loves division and enjoys especially when brothers in Christ dispute each other. I recognize it is spiritual warfare. Help heal any relationships caused by getting our focus off you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
