Have you ever been guilty of assuming the role of ‘Holy Spirit Junior’ trying to orchestrate things in someone’s life? Don’t do it! Always backfires and not your job. What your job is to do is prayer, pure, plain and simple.
Maybe women are more guilty of this malady than men but it is not a good thing to meddle and try to fix things but instead to pray and allow God to be God and take care of things in His time and for His purposes.
Try to not be the fixer of situations and to be still and let the Holy Spirit be in total control.
PRAYER: Father God I am sorry for the times I have not trusted you with a situation and tried to intervene only to have dire consequences. You are in control and I don’t need to be. In Jesus’ name. Amen

ReplyDeleteYes, I can attest to the fact that sometimes we meddle into other people's affairs 'in the name of God.' He doesn't ask us to. This is something I had to learn. Peace and blessings to you.
