The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.Romans 8:7
Here it is the day of the big game which even non football fanatics like myself watch mainly for commercials.
In the game of life as a believer you should play neither offense or defense. To get offended so easily shows you can’t trust God and let things go. To be defensive on the other hand means you want to prove yourself. Bring offensive or taking offense and getting offended does not fall in line with the love of the Lord. Similarly being defensive shows you have not totally trusted God to work on your behalf. So enjoy the offense and defensive plays in the Super Bowl but remember to let go of resentment, anger, and the things which make you get offended easily or defend yourself. God is there he can help. Keep the offense and defense on the field!PRAYER:I ask you to help me break the stronghold of taking offense or being defensive in my life because it only hurts me and others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
