Saturday

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.Romans 15:13

I read an excellent article about a subject I had never given much thought to by Waiting Room Ministry about the day between Good Friday and Easter being a time of uncertainty and waiting for the savior to rise again. Many of you are waiting for an answer to prayer that has not occurred sort of like lingering on that 'Saturday' of inactivity before Jesus came back to life. 

What does God intend for you to do in this waiting time? Many are waiting right now because of lack of control of their lives and waiting for ‘normalcy’ to return to their world. What exactly is normal anyway? Uncertainty abounds right now. 

By all means keep being a prayer warrior. Satan may throw things at you that can affect you even deeper during this time so stand firm on the word of God. First you need to be disciplined in reading the word. Are you in a slump? Read Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians. All very short but full of encouragement. Forge ahead knowing God is in the middle waiting for you and He loves you. 

PRAYER: Thanks so much Lord for the 'Saturday’s' of life that make us stay hopeful and also help us ponder what next. I want my mind fixed on you and not doubt and fear. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
