“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.” 1 Timothy 6:11There is nothing out of date about God’s design for society and the family where men are the primary bread winner and leader of their home. There has to be a person in charge and in God’s plan the man was the head of the woman. This doesn’t mean the female is not important or stupid just different design and different roles.You will note on TV and in the world, culture tries to belittle and squish man and make them feel puny as the woman rises up to the higher more powerful status as show after show depicts women as fire chiefs, mayors, judges, university presidents, police chiefs, school administrators and so forth. This is not saying a woman isn’t capable of that but by design God had a perfect plan. His word never changes either.The Promise Keepers movement has hopes of instilling in men the ability to be the men of God He intends them to be and to lead with grace and dignity taking care of and honoring the weaker sex. The home has broken apart as a result of weak men and poor role models. Children and families suffer. If you have gone through trauma due to a role God never intended you to have there is hope. Maybe your dad was not around. Continue to seek the Lord. Check link below for prayer support.God can heal and set free.PRAYER: Lord Jesus help families stay together.
