The idea for this title originated with Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is the month of love according to Hallmark cards. Right.
Remember marriage is about two people becoming one and you sacrifice things for the other person. In marriage you need to be other centered and not self centered.
Our culture makes it too easy to divorce disregarding the commitment the couple had made hopefully between them and God. Incompatible is a good reason some choose to throw in the towel. Now if a person is in an abusive marriage by all means seek help. But love and growing together as a couple should be your aim.PRAYER: Father I thank you for the gift of marriage. I thank you that it is to be representative of Christ and the church. Help me show respect and be unselfish. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
