Are You A Good Steward?

 

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:1Peter 4:10

Are you a good steward of the things God has entrusted you with things like your spouse, your children, your money, your home, your talents,  your car, and yes even your body? Ponder that for a few moments. God gives you things and wants you to manage them and take care of them wisely. 

To steward is to manage or look after. Shepherds watch their sheep, farmers tend to their farms and animals. Those are just a couple of examples. When it comes to money do you manage it by giving to God first remembering to do it cheerfully? (2 Corinthians 9:6).

Basically stewardship of all your possessions is a good thing and a big one also would be stewardship of your time. You are allotted so many hours per day. How do you use them? Just think that over and don’t waste one of your most precious resources.   

PRAYER: I want to use the things you have blessed me with wisely. Help me have wisdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
