Pending

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.Matthew 24:36

When we were in first stages of selling our farm of 15 years during Covid in 2020 to make the long journey to Southwest Idaho I couldn’t wait after it sold to see the sign that said ‘pending’ meaning there was a potential buyer and it would probably close soon. 

Did you know as you live here on this beautiful Earth that you if you accepted Christ as Savior that you are pending into the kingdom of Heaven meaning when you take your final breath the next thing you will see is Heaven. Not sure exactly what it will be like but it will be glorious. 

Only God knows the day and hour you will leave for Heaven. Why do some die early or as children or infants I do not know but I do know God can use all of it in the big scheme of things. That does not make grief any easier I know. So my friend make sure you have surrender to Christ, repented of your sins and you will be assured you will be with the Lord after death. A certain denomination is not the answer, baptism alone is not the answer but asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life is. 

 

PRAYER: Today I pray for anyone who isn’t sure if they will go to Heaven. I pray for those who need to decide to follow Christ and let Him take control. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
