God of the Possible

 

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20

Nothing is impossible with God! That wandering child who wants nothing to do with God will come back and can come back.  God is Able to do all things.

It is so easy to dwell on bad things and lies of the enemy. As a believer we have to make ourselves think on what is good and perfect. God can change a seemingly unchangeable situation. Each and every day you need to wake up filled with hope not despair. Matthew 19:26 also tells us 'nothing is impossible with God".

Don’t put limits on God. A few years ago I heard this saying “Believe receive and doubt do without.” Whatever it is you are praying for and believing for keep on praying. Do not stop. God works in your heart as he works in the hearts of those you are praying for. Do not take matters in your own hands but have faith.

PRAYER: Lord at times I feel hopeless. I know that you hear me and love me. Help me Lord to keep running the race to win and holding on to hope. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I CAN'T BUT GOD CAN, HE IS BIGGER!!!

What are you worried about today? What seemingly impossible situation are you facing? What hurts in your life are just weighing you down? So many things in life are way bigger than what we can humanly do but guess what? God is so much bigger and in fact HE CAN change things. He can give hope. He can give peace. These things won't happen if all we do is daily sit and wring our hands and cry. We have to have faith. We have to believe. 

Isaiah 40:31(NIV) is one of my favorite verses of hope. It says 'but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will walk and not be faint.' 

What are you facing today? Realize that God is supreme. Your problems may seem great but God is bigger. Just remember that! 

PRAYER: Forgive me Lord when I have lost hope and started to worry. Forgive me when I have been impatient in waiting for you to act. Forgive me Lord for not spending more time in your word. In 2014 I choose to have faith and trust you. In Jesus' name.

Matthew 19:26(NIV) tells us ‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Another great verse of hope is found in Ephesians 3:20(NIV) says ‘Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.’ Check that word immeasurably more. Don’t put limits on God. A few years ago I heard this saying “Believe receive and doubt do without.” Think on that for just a moment.
Whatever it is you are praying for and believing for a miracle keep on praying. Do not stop. God works in your heart as he works in the hearts of those you are praying for. Do not take matters in your own hands but have faith. Hebrews 11:1(NIV) reminds us ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

PRAYER: Lord at times I feel hopeless like a prayer I am praying is not being heard. I know that you hear me and love me. Help me Lord to keep running the race to win and holding on to hope which does not disappoint. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

JUST SAYING: NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!!

Do faith words or fear words come out of your mouth? Do you pray to God then in the next breath start to fret? Why even bother praying then? Remember worrying does not help get an answer to your pray any quicker. You offer your prayer up to the Lord and let Him take it  from there. Do you believe the scripture in Luke 1:37( NIV) which says 'Nothing is impossible with God.'  

        Why do you worry? Do you think God does not care?  God is bigger than our puny little problems. He has a plan for your life and it is not necessarily always about you. You need to trust Him for the outcome. Stop complaining to Him and be patient. Maybe that is half the battle training you in patience.  Don't pray then turn around and doubt him. What kind of prayer is that? 

Are you believing for something that seems impossible? Give your concern to God then let it go. Keep praising Him even when you do not see the answer. Even when things do not look good He has not left His throne. Have faith. 

There is a verse in Romans 4:17(NKJV) which says 'as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”  in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.'  For instance I would pray, 'Lord I thank you for giving me victory in this area.'  You pray this even before it has happened. Hebrews 11:8(ESV) says 'By faith Abraham believed when He was called to go out to a place that He was to receive an inheritance. And he went out not knowing where he was going.' 

Can you believe that God is the God of the impossible? Then let go and let Him work.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus I believe so help my unbelief. I know you have great plans for me and for my family. I need only be still and trust. Give me power from on high to do just that. In Jesus' name. Amen.
