Rejoice With Those Who Rejoice

 

A heart at peace gives life to the body,

but envy rots the bones. Proverbs 14:30 NIV Bible Gateway

Do you ever wish you could be like someone else or have something they have?

This scripture in Proverbs speaks of envy rotting the bones. Now that is a word picture isn’t it? Instead you should rejoice with those who have had blessings in their lives.

Don’t be envious and Romans 12:15 speaks of living at peace with all men. Can you do that? It takes lots of energy to whine, complain, and be jealous instead why not look to God with gratitude for what He has done in your life.
