Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.Proverbs 19:11
Did you know being offended is not a fruit of the spirit? I am not sure if you have taken offense or had someone being offended towards you but it is not a fun feeling. It is described as being upset, hurt, or annoyed and it is a carnal reaction.
Walk in the spirit and you won’t fulfill the desires of the flesh or carnal nature it says in Galatians 5:16. It is Satan who causes division and your real enemy is him not a person. Keep that in mind.
Is there someone you have had a spirit of offense towards? Perhaps now it is time to humble yourself and go to them and ask forgiveness. Maybe you have been on the receiving end of the offense. If so forgive whether the person asks or not.
