Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.Romans 12:15
Welcome to 2016 the year of the selfie obsessed generation and those needing affirmation by being 'liked'. Sure who doesn't like to see 'like' next to a valuable post on their Facebook page.
Be on guard though that you do not allow your 'likes' to define you or get addicted to them.
One way to use 'like' in a positive affirming way is to rejoice with good news, congratulate someone, or share your support in a heartache. You can use it as a tool to rejoice with others good news. Don't let others good news make you envious but allow God to help you be happy for them.
The main thing is know that it only matters that God likes you. He loves you and you don't need any thing else.
PRAYER: Help me Lord to not focus on Facebook but to focus on the good news in your book The Bible. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Good word, Becky ! This is such a temptation these days with "instant gratification", etc. Also, your post I sent to my great niece was used to encourage her that day! Thanks for being faithful to your calling!
