Welcome to ‘Lilly’ Sunday the day many go to church out of obligation for it being a high Holy day for Christians worldwide. I don’t mean to say that in a mocking or flippant way but too often people come because deep down they know they should be there to celebrate the resurrection.It is hard to find anything remotely about Jesus’ resurrection in main stream stores. His brutal bloody death and miracle of His coming back to life 3 days later can’t be candy coated with chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and decorated eggs. It is what it is. The miracle of prophecy coming true. And today there are many Easter traditions that aren’t wrong but I am not sure how they originated. Go with the flow.Get excited today about the miracle of the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. Ponder what it means.PRAYER: Today Lord I am grateful for the gift of eternal life when we believe in faith. I pray for those people who have trouble wrapping their mind around this biggest event ever. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
