Stop Looking In The Rearview Mirror

Brothers and sisters, do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.Philippians 3:13-14

This is the final day of 2025 will you forward in 2026 or keep looking back? What do you want to achieve in the New Year?

Have you made yourself any goals or resolutions or even decided how you will say goodbye to 2026. How about a fresh start in prayer. Deliberately getting on your knees and crying out to God. Things in your life may have gone south so to speak in 2025 but forgive when necessary and seek God first.

Do you have relationships that need to be mended? Maybe Satan has made you feel you are ‘above’ reaching out and apologizing but you know deep down you need to. Let God of things divisive and pursue peace.

PRAYER: Oh I cry out to God and ask that He mold me into His image and remove anger, a critical tongue, jealousy or anything keeping me from being effective for the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It I Never Too Late My Friend

But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.Isaiah 40:31 NIV Bible Gateway

Do you ever feel life has passed you by and there is just no hope for change? Especially when you deal with health issues or physical limitations you can tend to become a pit dweller and get down in the dumps.

It is time to lift your hope and your attitude. Perhaps going into a new year is a time to get refocused and if you have trouble with that try doing something kind to someone or for someone.

Don’t allow this world and its’ problems to rub off on you. Don’t allow someone else’s bad vibes to get you down in a pit. Get up daily, drop to your knees and praise God for another day to make a difference.

PRAYER: Lord thanks for being my God of hope. Help me to share hope with those hurting. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Regular Scheduled Programming?

“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.“ Isaiah 43:18 ESV Bible Gateway

Ok so Christmas is over now back to our regularly scheduled programming so to speak. Does it have to go back to hum drum stuff or can you purpose in your heart to change things up in 2026?

Maybe you have unresolved conflicts in your life. Misunderstandings with spouse, family members, or friends. Perhaps going through an unsettled time financially. Whatever it is don’t drag stuff into the new year make up your mind things will be different. Let God help.

Don’t allow Satan to divide your life and keep you emotionally drained. Begin today regardless of anything else to set a new forgiving tone in the New Year.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus I need you. When I am hated or misunderstood or treated poorly help me remember you too were spat upon and beaten and abused. Nothing I go through is anything like that. Open the door wide open for forgiveness and moving on. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Note- So I got ready to post a devotion for today and my completed saved devotion folder was empty. Had to recreate a new one at last minute. Sitting here at Grindz Coffee in Garden City, Idaho reconstructing devotions. Please pray for me ok?

Do You Feel Lazy?

“A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Proverbs 10:4

I was pondering pioneer days as I gaze upon one of the many handmade quilts from my maternal grandmother. People in 1800’s and earlier did not have it easy. You worked hard or didn’t survive. Today we can sort of coast along and just run out to a store for stuff.

Do you ever get lazy in your spiritual life? It is easy to just do ‘one minute devotions’ and be done for the day. I have done it. The enemy will try to get you lethargic so to speak.

Anything worth having takes work. God never intended you and I to just exist but to push ahead and work hard. Even crumbling relationships take diligence. Trust God to help guide your steps daily as you plant seeds of hope and trust God to bring forth fruit.

PRAYER: Lord I thank-you for each day you give me. Help me not be lazy but to work hard at every thing I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Putting Christmas Away

Mixed emotions always accompany the Christmas season. Today I walked my neighborhood and was thinking it was time to pack the decorations away for another year.

Let’s not pack Jesus and the spirit of Christmas away  though. You may have had unmet expectations or inner emotional turmoil going on but give it to Jesus. Make a New Year’s resolution to get on your knees daily, yes down on the floor if you can and give praise and thanks to God.

It is easy to let your spiritual life get in a slump or to get negative so why not seek to truly give your heart to God and let Him carry your burdens. I am going to try will you join me?

PRAYER: Father forgive me when I put you on the shelf with the decorations and forget why there is Christmas. In Jesus’ name.Amen.

Note: My former church in Alabama has 21 Days Of Prayer twice yearly. The first one begins 4 Jan 26 and anyone anywhere can get online and participate either live Central time or stream later. The link is www.churchofthehighlands.com/21days. Why not check it out. Or you can download awesome App entitled Pray First. You won’t be sorry.

It’s Going To Be A Bumpy Ride But God’s Got Yoy(Quote Gloria Gaynor)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

I was watching The Kennedy Center Honors recently and got today’s title. Your life may have ups and downs but God is at the controls if only you would let Him be. Even if the road is full of bumps and potholes hang on as God has a plan.

When things don’t look like they will work out do not despair. Keep trusting God and talk to Him daily in prayer. Been praying for breakthrough? Be still my friend.

Today getting ready to go into a new year in a couple days why not purpose in your heart things will be different. Start by proving to God you can wait and trust Him.

PRAYER: Lord I do know that you love and care for me and hear  the prayers I pray in faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s Here-Happy Birthday Jesus!

"For to us child is born, to us son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Even though you may be in the throes of egg nog, cookies, gifts, and games, stop and realize what is this day really about. A baby born of a virgin who is the Son of God who came to save us from our sins. Pretty simple yet so profound.

If only the world would clamor for His presence like they do for after Christmas sales, a shiny new car, or trip to Disney World.

In all your celebration and busyness today stop, take a breath, and say “Jesus Happy birthday” and really ponder the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

PRAYER: Father I need you each day. Forgive me when it doesn’t appear I do. Forgive my mess ups and the times I speak when I should stay silent. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love Is The Greatest Light Of All

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."Isaiah 60:1

Love is of God and true love is God, and a quote by the late painter Thomas Kinkade says “love is the greatest light of all”.

Thomas Kinkade was known as the painter of light as he discovered how light brings joy into people’s lives and all his paintings depicted that light.

In the Christmas movie entitled Thomas Kinkade’s ‘The Christmas Cottage’ which I watched again this season it depicts the journey of Thomas Kinkade and the light he wanted others to see and which his mentor Glenn Wessels saw towards the end of his life. Do you shine the light of love for others to see?

PRAYER: Lord use me to be a light on a dark place. Help people walking in darkness find that light. In Jesus’ name. Amen. image0.jpeg

Forgiveness Opens Hearts

But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:15 NIV Bible Gateway

Two days before Christmas. Not everyone is having a Hallmark encounter during this season. There are pent up emotions and perhaps family drama for some. Unmet expectations. Those in shelters or on the street who are hurting emotionally. A gamut of situations. There could be health issues.

Maybe this is the time of year you hope for reconciliation with a loved one. Forgiving someone or asking forgiveness may be the way to go to patch things up. Sometimes this time of year hurts for many. If you are doing okay give thanks to God.

God loves you. He loves to be loved back. Hopefully you are getting ready for a wonderful time or maybe you have already celebrated. Just remember the reason for the season and don’t get caught up in anything else.

PRAYER: I choose joy this time of year for the gift of a savior is something to be joyful for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Better Not Pout

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." Ephesians 4:1

The ‘Santa Claus is coming to town’ song has a verse “you better not pout” meaning children out there be good for Santa or he may not come. Adults too better learn to stop their pouting as well.

Do you find yourself joyful or do you pout and complain? How do you reflect the love of Christ in your everyday life?

Whatever is keeping you from experiencing joy let it go and let God have it. Talk to Him be honest. Christmas isn’t merry for everyone. Smile and shine Jesus’ love regardless of your circumstances.

PRAYER: Lord I want to be filled to overflowing with joy. I give you the situations in my life that are joy robber’s. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jingle Bells- Jesus Is Born!

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'Luke 2:10-11

Are you having a holly jolly Christmas season already or are you burdened with to do lists and trying to make it the perfect Christmas?

Three days until we commemorate and celebrate the birth of a baby that changed the world. This is not the birthday of Santa but the celebration of a baby who changed the world.

If you are able to slow down please do so. Right now I am in a coffee shop enjoying a hot cup of mint majesty tea. This season is painful for so many. You would think here in Western world all would be well but there are still allot of sad faces. Do your part to bring joy even if only a smile.

PRAYER: Help me Lord to look beyond myself during this time of celebration. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Look To The Mountains

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? Psalm 121:1

If you live on a flat prairie or plain or somewhere with rolling hills it might be hard to visualize this but here I am in a valley beside the Rocky Mountains in Idaho so it is easy to gaze on mountains and the splendor of them.

So you are looking up to God regardless knowing your help comes from Him and Him alone. No matter what daily life brings your way look up to your Heavenly Father. He alone brings comfort, peace, joy if you can learn to only be still.

For me that is difficult but I have been working on it since 1975. Yes that is correct. The art of stillness. The art of gratitude regardless of your situation. Look up and give praise to God.

PRAYER: Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Thanks for getting me out of the muck and mire of daily problems and setting my feet on a rock. I look up to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Why Do We Get Crazy This Time Of Year?

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.John 14:27 Bible Gateway NIV

What is it about this time of year when you are supposed to have peace on earth goodwill to men and end up a stressed out ball of nerves? Perhaps feeling obligated to do things that in the big scheme of things don’t really matter anyway.

Cards, presents, shopping, parties, events, travelling,  cooking, movies, baking, church oh yes it fits in there. Is there time to just relax? Don’t you suppose Jesus would be more honored by your peacefully sitting at his feet?

As I write this I am forcing myself to get outside and go for a walk leaving my phone behind. This is the holiday which is the celebration of Jesus’ birthday that’s pretty simple so why the elves, Santa’s, mistletoe, egg nog, and so much more. It is about a baby in a manger who came to give us everlasting life. He lived a mere 33 years until he was brutally crucified by haters. Can you just rest and think about that for awhile?

PRAYER: Help me learn to sit at the saviors feet. Calm my spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Overwhelming Season Of Life?

From the end of the earth will cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I."Psalm 61:2

Are you feeling overwhelmed and counting down the days til Christmas and trying to do too much or doing things not really necessary or critical to this season? It is easy to spin too many plates at Christmas( old school friends illustrations of plate spinners on Ed Sullivan show). (See below).

You can plant the kind of  “seeds” in your life you want to take root and this being seeds of joy, peace, love, and so forth. Rip out the weeds of anxiety and overspending.

It is your choice to get overwhelmed or to stay at peace. First don’t think you have to fill up your calendar. Leave days for rest and fun stuff. Watch a good Christmas movie may I recommend ‘The Christmas Candle’ or ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’. Enjoy Jesus’ birthday!

PRAYER: Lord I want to stay grounded during this time of year and not get flustered and worn down. Help me with my choices. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Is There Something You Need To Let Go Of?

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken."Psalm 55:22

Resentment, comparison, hurt feelings, pride, anger you name it. Some of those can be accentuated during this time of year. This time of year can bring frustration when you may feel inadequate as a social hostess, gift giver, card sender whatever it is.

Maybe you need to let go of expectations. Why do certain things have to be done? Why do you have to try to be like others? Relax and chill out.

Let go of trying to be something you are not. Suicide rates are very high during this time of year as many are not only overwhelmed with comparisons but with sadness of missing deceased family or friends. It can be overwhelming. Know this that God is with you and loves you and Satan is a liar and thief robbing you of Yuletide joy and peace on earth. Choose Christ and nothing more.

PRAYER: Help me give up my earthly problems and focus on others and the problems they may have. Help me think beyond myself. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Whatever Is Bothering You/Bring It!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-30

There is a major hospital in Boise who on their billboard says something similar to today’s title. They of course referring to medical issues. But in God’s kingdom whatever you have bothering you ‘bring it’ to Him as well.

Don’t be a lone ranger Christian but not only talk to God but share your concerns and needs with trusted friends. No man is an island. You need someone else to confide in.

Don’t carry your burdens alone. If you have never journaled get a notebook and start writing your feelings in it each day. It is a good growth tool to help you process things. Bring your concerns to God now. He is waiting.

PRAYER: Trust and obey is what I am trying to learn to do. To be still, be quiet and know you are working. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Are Called To Be Still

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14:14 ESV

Being still is not easy. You are waiting on an answer to prayer, a change in a situation, or something else but you fight the tendency to play Holy Spirit Junior and move things along.

You need to wait patiently for the Lord’s timing in everything. Yes it is not an easy task. Why Lord why? When Lord when?

Have your quiet time each day and commit to the Lord your schedule and that you want your schedule to be His schedule. Control random thinking that can get you off track and into wanting to rush. Guard your heart.

PRAYER: Lord I seek your face today and every day. I ask your help in staying off social media and keeping my nose in my own business as I wait on you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Football Time And Touchdown Jesus

 image0.jpeg

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”Philippians 4:13

A piece of mosaic artwork stands tall over Notre Dame and up until the 90’s was visible from most of the stadium seats. In 1964 one year after it was gifted to the university since on the large mosaic Jesus arms were lifted in the air similar to a referee showing a team got a touchdown it was affectionately called ‘Touchdown Jesus’.

It may be Christmas time but football is still going on due to bowl games coming up and to see this college with their ‘touchdown Jesus’ brings a smile to my face. (In Huntsville, Alabama First Baptist Church has a mosaic affectionately known as egg beater Jesus.) I love when teams declare Jesus and are unashamed of Him.

Be like Touchdown Jesus when you worship God lift those arms high in praise of His majesty. Jesus is number 1.

PRAYER: I need you father each day and I thank you for the cheerful reminder of God’s love and a sense of humor. Thanks father for this day may I pause to glorify you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

He’s Still Working On Me And You

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23

You are a work in progress even if you are what the world calls elderly, old, a senior, you still gave value and worth and your life and purpose is not over. Don’t just cave in and settle for death.

Yes someday we will all die but each day you will impact others around you in some way. Don’t feel like just because your calendar shows the days ticking away and thinking what possibly could you do to make an impact. You can do plenty.

Shine for Jesus wherever you are and let go of wrong thinking that may be keeping you emotionally paralyzed. Decide today right now you will not let the enemy drag you into a pit where you feel incapacitated and worthless. You are valuable to God and to this world!

PRAYER: Today Lord open up doors of opportunity for me to share truth with someone and protect me from devils lies. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Need A Friend- God Is Always There

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”Deuteronomy 31:8

Have you ever felt lost like you needed something or someone in your life? God has been pursuing you since you were born. You are not too far for God to reach you no matter what you have done. Even if you once were crazy in love with God and hungered for His word but somehow strayed off course God is there.

You need to make a u turn and run back to God. If you have listened to wrong voices, pursued wrong relationships whatever took you away from God’s truth it is time to break the chains and come back.

The enemy is relentless to try to con you into coming into his court. Don’t fall for lies of the enemy. You know in your heart what is true so tell the devil to take a seat and shut up. God is there. Call out to Him.

PRAYER: Lord God I need you in my life. I pray for those who know what is the right thing to do but have just let the enemy run over them. I ask that curses be broken and people who need to return to Christ to run hard and fast after Him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Christmas Memories

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."Isaiah 9:6

As I was unpacking my Christmas ornament boxes recently and as I am sure you know it can be very nostalgic and a flood of memories came over me.

Christmas is way more than putting out decorations and filling stockings. As you go about your decorating and wrapping gifts stop and realize what this celebration is really all about. We don’t even need a Christmas tree really. A simple manger scene will do just fine.

Take time to reflect on what Christmas is and as you watch your various Christmas movies and go to events make sure you remember what the real reason for the season is.

PRAYER: Lord I don’t want to get so caught up in hoopla that I forget what I am celebrating. Help me stay focused on a babe born in a manger. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Joy Unspeakable

He must increase, but I must decrease.John 3:30 KJV Bible Gateway

Fifteen days til Christmas do you feel joyful? What exactly is joy anyway? I use the acronym with the three letters J.O.Y. Meaning Jesus first, others second, yourself last.

Why allow the culture to dominate your Christmas. You don’t have to say yes to every party or get your cards out on time or even have your house cleaned. Relax my friend.

Joy to the world the Lord has come that is what it is all about. Now go enjoy this season.

PRAYER: Father I need you the world needs you my friends and family need you. Open closed hearts that have become dull and let the joy of your love resonate. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Contending With A Mountain Of Electronic Gobbly Gook

“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” – Colossians 3:2

Boy am I glad the internet and social media was not yet invented when I was a young mom. At night I think so many of the young moms might be tempted to be on their devices at the expense of a relationship with their children.

It isn’t just social media but it is the sheer volume of things you have to wade through to get to real messages from family and friends. Maybe an electronic detox is what in order. Yes you can live life without your phone in your back pocket all the time.

Do you want a peaceful life where you can really sit and be still? Try this. Paper Bible, notebook, pen and Jesus in a quiet place with no distractions. Put the phone away for a while. People can find you if they really need to.

PRAYER: Help me Father as I seek to seek you more and the world less. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Forgetting The Baby Jesus

Have you ever heard stories of people who leave a child behind in a restaurant or another place? Probably not. Well this is the season we celebrate because of Jesus’ birth yet so many towns and cities and families totally omit Him. Say what?

All the merriment, holiday festivities, music but where is the real reason for the season? I have a difficult time being around all the joyous things when Jesus is no where to be found.

Might I challenge you to seek out the real reason for the season and incorporate Him into the festivities.

PRAYER: Lord my heart aches for the many people who don’t know the real reason for Christmas or maybe they do but just don’t celebrate it. Convict people to seek the real meaning. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Crazy Schedules In December-Peace On Earth?

If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. Either way, Christ’s love controls us.Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.2 Corinthians 5:13-14 NLT Bible Gateway

In December do you sometimes feel like your head is going to explode thinking of all the demands or things you think you have to do to have a holly jolly Christmas? Who says you have to fit into a cultural norm. Or you may thrive at this time with all the chaos.

If you are stressed break out of your rut and change things up. First don’t forget your morning quiet times alone with God. It is essential to stay peaceful. Give your expectations and your schedules to God. Relax.

Be yourself and enjoy the time to celebrate Jesus’ birthday even if the world seems they have forgotten him and glorified Santa.

PRAYER: Lord thankyou for hearing me and helping me relax when I would rather pop a cork. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Guilt Stalker?

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9

Have you been told you guilt people? If so why is it you do it and how can you stop. Even the simple guilt trip of making a Christian sister or brother feel bad when they can’t come to Bible study or an activity. That is not Christlike at all. Making a family member feel bad they can’t hang out with you.

The way a person was raised can contribute or perhaps birth order or whatever it is it has to be stopped. I am ashamed to say I have brought guilt on people I love not on purpose mind you but never the less it happened.

It is necessary to stop and think what you text or say and really ask yourself will it edify and bring God glory or what exactly is the purpose of making another person feel bad. God can set you free from anything and if you struggle with this especially now at the busy Christmas season talk to Him and seek to be set free.

PRAYER: Father God help me act like you when I deal with people and situations. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Reason For the Season

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.John 14:27 NIV Bible Gateway

This week I was pondering all the cultural obligations of this season. Attend parades, bake cookies, write cards, have people over, go to parties, drive thru light displays  and so much more and I went whew. Why?

What is the reason for the season? Yes sort of cliche but really what is the reason for this cultural red and green glittery holiday? I think we all the know the answer. It is simple. JESUS. Nothing more nothing less so why then do you find yourself backed into a stressful corner of obligations that steal your joy?

You don’t see too many manger scenes in front yards. Have a holly jolly Christmas right? Anyway not everyone wants to celebrate the birth of a baby in a manger but you can. Pray for those people who need to know the reason for the season.

PRAYER: Today Lord I lift up people who are caught up in the tinsel and glitter but don’t know you as their savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Ohio State University and The Jesus Christ

"Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

In watching the recent matchup between Ohio State and Michigan I got to think about my home state of Ohio and how people who go to OSU will say ‘The’ Ohio State University emphasizing their pride of their team so I got to thinking of how we believers should proudly declare we follow ‘The’ Jesus Christ.

There is no other name whereby mankind can be saved and set free. Not Allah, Not Buddha, Not Mohamed, nothing. There is only one way to enter Heaven and that is to confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and to believe in your heart. (Romans 10:9).

So here in the midst of football teams arrogantly declaring who is the best believers in Christ know there is only one Jesus!

PRAYER: Father I thank you that you can set prisoners free and give salvation to whomever calls on you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Shortcuts

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6

Most people I know seem to like short cuts whether it is driving somewhere or cooking for friends and family. Seems like a short way is the simplest method to stay hassle free and aren’t you looking for less confusion in your life?

Something’s require more than a shortcut but in general if you could make life simpler you probably would correct? Wonder if there is a book ‘Shortcuts For Dummies’ to help those of us clueless still to simplicity.

In your walk with the Lord it can be hassle free. Don’t keep saying no to Jesus. Don’t keep making excuses for why you don’t want to be part of a dynamic spirit filled church. Coming to Jesus is pretty simple. Saying “Jesus come into my life and be my Lord and savior. Forgive me for my sins and for ignoring you and putting seeking pleasure over seeking you. I choose to come to you now.” That’s it pretty simple.

PRAYER: Help me Lord to keep running after you and stop taking detours off your path. I know the right thing to do so help me to do it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stop Comparing To Others

Do you ever find yourself wanting to be like or do things you see others doing and you start to become discontent? It is like looking at the greener grass over the fence.

Everyone’s life is different and not the same dynamics come into play. Better to stop and chill and just give God thanks for what you do have not wishing you could walk in someone else’s shoes.

This time of year can tend to get a little crazy thinking of gift buying and commitments for Christmas and  if you are like me you feel like running and hiding somewhere. Why not stop get a cup of tea or coffee and breathe and relax and talk to God.

PRAYER: Lord I do thank you for so much in my life. There is nothing I need but you. Help me keep my eyes on things above and not what my neighbors are doing. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
