But Wait!! That's Not All!

 

But Wait!! That’s Not All! Better is the little of the righteous. Than the abundance of many wicked.Psalm 37:16 Everyone who watched television is probably familiar with the infomercials advertising wondrous products people think they can not live without. Impulse buying is the key. The announcer after baiting the viewer usually shouts out “But wait, that’s not all.” I think of that in relationship to a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Depending on how you came to know Christ and follow Him every one has a different story. I know when my spiritual eyes were opened it was not the time I was baptized as a youth with others in a class because I thought I had to but much later in life when I found the truth in a simple little booklet The Four Spiritual Law’s. My walk with the Lord took on new meaning and I was hungering to know more. Being a Christian is way more than being born in America and being raised in a family who took you to a certain church and you went through certain steps to be a member or confirmed or something similar. It is way more than a simple denomination.  Now I want to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, And Make a Difference which is what church’s associated with Association of Related Churches teach of which there are hundreds throughout the world. Church is way more than going on Sunday. My prayer is for a major worldwide revival to break out amidst the fear of pandemic and the isolation from friends and family. Jesus is Lord and He wants everyone to follow Him and find freedom as only He gives.  PRAYER: I am grateful to parents who took me to church and am grateful for my upbringing but also am thankful for when my eyes were truly opened to truth and I hungered for you. I pray for those I may know who have not experienced this and may feel they are into a dry ‘religion’ and they are just going through the motions with no desire for Jesus hardly at all. I ask you to protect   their hearts and minds from following wrong voices and they truly find you as their savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
