For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2 Corinthians 10:4
A dear friend of mine referred to people who are caught up in being deceived by the enemy as 'prisoners of war'. Perhaps there are some of these 'prisoners' close to you, a child, a spouse, another family member or close friend. Regardless of who, Satan takes 'captive' those whose mind are set on the flesh.
Prisoners of war in a physical battle are kept in camps or secure areas and are subject to harassment by their enemy. Sometimes, such as during the Vietnam War, psychological warfare is used and the captives are told lies about their family or things back home to mess with their minds. This is exactly what Satan does to our loved ones held captive in his little camp of terrors. He wants those of us praying to give up hope and be convinced there is no way out. Yet we believers do not believe his lies or deception.
If you are praying daily for your prisoner of war keep on keeping on and trust that God has a way to set them free and make them spiritually whole once again.

PRAYER: I command Satan in your mighty name to release _________________ and to not let them be deceived by the enemy anymore. _______________is a child of God and the truth will set them free. In Jesus' name. Amen.
