Do you do anything that wastes time? Hmmm. Reading junk snail or email? Too much television. Worrying?
This came to me as I sat searching frantically on my I phone for an 'important' email I accidentally deleted. Not only was I wasting time but causing anxiety too. So I stepped back and said "you know Becky, you could be taking a walk, reading your Bible or something else" and then I stopped.
People can waste lots of time with things that don't matter. Sometimes maybe dwelling on issues we have no control over wastes a ton of time. Perhaps stopping to pray over things would be a better option than trying to figure things out and getting no where. Controlling our thoughts is one way we could save time.
How can you better use the time God gives you each day?
PRAYER: I thank you Lord for each 24 hour day you bless me with. Help me be a good steward of this time and use it wisely. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Becky:
ReplyDeleteI could make better use of my time by turning things over to the Lord and not fretting about them. If I continue to fret about issues, I tend to make myself sick.
