Many times if you can just change your environment or outlook on life you will develop a better, cheerier disposition and overall well being. Your mindset is important and at Weight Watchers meetings it is one of the keys to learn positive thinking and thus help you with your goals. Also the recent running of the Boston Marathon on April 17 is a good example of athletes who need to develop a mindset to get them to the finish line.
You can choose to succumb to wrong attitude and feelings and live in the past or you can choose to press on to new goals and new dreams learning from your past failures or setbacks. No matter what it is that makes you want to throw in the towel and just quit stay the course. A relationship, a weight loss program, a job hunt, an illness, waiting for the answer to prayer, the return of a prodigal child, keep going. Recently I heard the report of a family reconciliation after about 7 years of not speaking. Wow, God is good.Spring time is a great time to begin practicing new ways of thinking. As you look at budding trees and flowers, baby ducklings being born and other signs of newness, know that you too can experience this sense of being alive again.PRAYER: Oh how I love you Lord.
