Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27So many people shy away from using the description 'miracle' when referring to something that can be explained no other way. I was watching a show on TV recently where two planes carrying 10 skydivers collided in midair. Amid flaming debris, miraculously everyone to include the two pilots, survived. One survivor said "it was beyond a miracle."I must say it was refreshing to hear the word 'miracle' even uttered as usually a person interviewed says they were very lucky. There are indeed miracles still occurring today and no one can deny them no matter how hard they attempt to. Miracles can be little things or big dramatic events. I think of a child who was the sole survivor of an aircraft accident years ago and wonder what this person is doing today. When you go about your day each day keep your eyes and ears open for miracles all around you. The birth of a baby and how it forms in the mother's womb is a miracle no one can deny. God is still working. Aren't you glad? I am.PRAYER: I thank you for small and large miracles you perform each and every day. I thank you for the miracle of creation first and foremost. Seeing miracles or hearing about them brings renewed hope and for that I am grateful. In Jesus' name. Amen.
