Coordinator, Project Manager, Vice President

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3

Today I want to do a shout out to stay home moms. Those courageous ladies who may possess a college degree but still make the choice to be home for their precious children. It is not easy when societal pressure tends to insinuate you have to rise to the top of your career. I have been there at one time missing my 'title' or the prestige a certain job may have provided. These jobs can lure you into a false sense of importance and security. Now if you are reading this today and work while you baby or toddler is with a nanny or in daycare, I am not standing in judgment but simply affirming those women who put self on hold for the benefit of their child.

18 years is basically what time you have to impact the life of your child. It flies by quickly. In my humble opinion the mom who is able to stay home is doing her child a huge favor. Maybe some purchases may need to be put on hold but a wise money manager can handle it.  There are no guarantees that your child will be without fault but it is sure nice to be able to help mold their character. 

So stay home mom,  you are indeed a title holder, that of coordinator, project manager, and Vice President. As they say "the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." 

PRAYER: I am thankful for the gift of children and the miracle of birth. Help Mothers everywhere value their time and use it wisely, as before you know the little ones are grown up. In Jesus' name. Amen.
