Stay Focused And Alert

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27
I am not going to get political, but the United States is in a mess. Appeasing terrorists and dictators makes us a sitting duck for attacks. Yet what to do? Perhaps turn off the news and talk shows and get on your knees and pray. Take off the Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Tea Party hat and realize God Almighty is the REAL one in charge.

We can wring our hands worrying Cuba will now attack us or North Korea will drop a bomb. Perhaps ISIS terrorists will come across our unprotected Mexican border. Regardless, once again we are commanded to pray for our leaders whether we agree with them or not. Many opinions are floating around. We have to be on our guard but we have to keep in prayer.

The enemy, Satan, does not like this free country we live in and works through unknowing subjects to destroy freedom and liberty. It can be so subtle many do not see it coming. I have one word for that. Hitler. Our enemy is prowling around seeking whom he may destroy as it says in 1 Peter 5:8 and it reads as follows "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." In these troubled times wake up and stay alert and stay in the word of God.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus we may be scared when we hear of things going on to make America less safe from our enemies but we know you are indeed control. I trust you Lord and will keep my eyes on you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

NOTE:I urge all readers to use this website as a valuable tool for praying for our leaders whether www agree with them or not. www.presidentialprayerteam.com

  1. Becky; This is a very tender issue for me. I just came from a prayer group that meets weekly. One of our local doctors has family in Damascus, caugth between the two fighting factions. One man in our church has requested we pray for the family. We here in the USA have been blessed not to have our nation as a war zone. WE NEED TO PRAY!

  2. Yes indeed we do as we are so complacent to the possibility of a Hitler regime taking over here.
