THE 'TO DO' LIST REVISITED

A while back I wrote about our daily 'to do' list and I have some more very important factors to add to that list so here goes.

 Don't dwell on problems. Don't believe the devils lies. Don't compromise beliefs. Don't worry!

 But what you should do is as follows:
 Do seek the truth.
 Do Read the Bible.
 Do put others first.
 Do love unconditionally.
 Do pray daily.
 Do forgive.
 Do only say what builds people up.
 Do encourage.
 Do give thanks.
 Do be kind to others.
 Do 'seek first the kingdom of God'!
 Do dwell on good thoughts.
 Do something to help someone each day even if strangers.
 Do not brag.
 Do follow the Ten Commandments.
 Do be thankful in all things!
 Do 'run the race' to win and keep your eyes on the cross.
 Do shine Jesus light to others around you.
 Do give God the glory!

You can probably build upon this list. All of these are from the Bible not my own head. These are not a list of legalistic rules that are made up by man but are things that if followed will help you not only be closer to God but will help you with the trials of life that are surely to come.

Matthew 6:33 says " But seek first his kingdom and God's righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." 1st Corinthians 9:24 says "do you not know that in a race all runners run but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." Get rid of what is weighing you down and keeping you from being all God wants you to be."

PRAYER: Lord being a Christian is more than being in church on Sunday. Lord I want to stay on the path of life you have prepared for me and resist the devil and he will have to flee. Thank you Lord for your word, The Holy Bible, that is my guidebook and instruction manual for life. My desire is to read it daily and not let Satan drag me into his pit of untruths. In Jesus name.
