Have you ever been in a situation where you just about could not take it any longer? Maybe you haven't, but you hear of people overwhelmed with life who just wish it was all over. Nothing is so bad that God can not be your 'lifeline'. Lots of things in life can bring stress and pressure but God is always there and things will always get better. The sun will shine again and time will heal wounds. The enemy Satan brings a spirit of discouragement, doubt, anger and a host of other negative emotions because his goal is to kill, steal, and destroy.
Imagine the rope you feel you are dangling from and picture that God is on the other side up at the top of the mountain hanging on to the rope ready to rescue you. God is up at the top of the cliff and he is saying "hang on child, I have got you. Do not give up. I am here".
So whatever it is you may be going through keep that word in mind, 'through', that means it will be over you are going to go beyond it. Isaiah 43:2 says "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you."
The Lord your God is with you wherever you go. You only need trust and believe. He can and will save you if you only cry out to him. Joshua 1:9 says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
PRAYER: Father there may be those who are struggling and feel hopeless. I pray today you will bring peace, hope, and comfort to them. Help them know that this too shall pass. Bring a spirit of peace into their lives and help them trust in you.
