Is there a big decision coming up in life? A job change perhaps or a decision you have to make? Proverbs 16:1 says "We can make our plans, but the final outcome is in God's hands." God knows where he wants you to be and he has a plan for you. A popular verse to quote is Jeremiah 29:11 which says "I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Do not fret over detaills either. Philippians 4:19 says,"And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory because of what Christ Jesus has done for us."
I have been many places as a military member and later a military wife and I look back and see situations and places now as true 'God things'. When something was going on at the time you may not see the good but in hindsight you can. Moving is not always fun but part of the military way of life, but with those moves came tremendous new friends and many blessings. Proverbs 16:33 says," We toss the coin,but it is the Lord who controls its decisions."
When I was a single Second Lieutenant in the Army living in Pacific Grove, California I had a poster on my apartment wall with Ephesians 3:20 on it which says," Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of -infinitely beyond our highest prayers,desires, or thoughts."
Basically just pray to God, give him your concerns, ask for his guidance, wisdom and peace in your decision making. Trust him, then let him work.
PRAYER: Today do you need peace from God on a big decision you have to make. Talk to him in prayer and trust him for the outcome. He is in control ultimately. And he has the best in store for you. In Jesus Name,amen
